Kindermusik. Because a good beginning never ends.
Starting with Kindermusik classes, parents with newborns, infants, and toddlers are introduced to a variety of musical styles, instruments, and movements to stimulate your child's development physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, verbally, and of course, musically. Parents use music in Sign & Sing class to teach sign language to their children beginning at 6 months of age. Sign language eases frustration, facilitates communication, and enhances language and literacy skills. Pre-schoolers explore imaginative play in Kindermusik class, letting their imaginations run wild as they learn to match pitches and keep a steady beat. Finally, 5 to 7 year olds move to the Young Child program where they learn to play the glockenspiel, dulcimer, and recorder while doing sight reading and ear training exercises, and learning to read music.

Quality musical instruction for a lifetime.
After graduating from the Kindermusik Young Child program, your second grader is ready to excel in private lessons on their instrument of choice. The Mannington Music School offers private lessons in bass, clarinet, drums, flute, guitar, piano, saxophone, violin, and voice to students age 8 through adult. In addition, we offer group classes in beginning and advanced sight singing and ear training, vocal harmonies, theory/composition, and rock band musicianship. We also offer private tutoring in music theory, sight singing, ear training, and keyboard harmony.

Group classes in art, drama, and movement provide a solid foundation in the fine & performing arts.
Our "Introduction to Movement" class lets young children experience dance without committing to a dance studio. There's no end of year recital, and no expensive costumes to buy. Our focus on process, not performance, ensures that your child benefits from the movement and makes those vital mind-body neural connections necessary for coordinated, fluid movement. If you missed out on dance as a young child, our "Introduction to Dance" class for teenagers and adults offers a solid foundation in the dance styles used in today's musical theater productions. Our dance aerobics and yoga classes are designed to keep a mature body healthy and fit.
Art classes develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Students learn to look, not just see. Classes for children and adults explore various mediums including painting, drawing, jewelry making and glass art.
