Dana Mae Gayner, owner, voice instructor, Kindermusik educator
Miss Dana is a lifelong resident of Salem, NJ. She began her formal training in singing at the age of 9, and continued her study of music through high school and college, earning a B.A. in voice from Westminster Choir College of Rider University. Since 2003, Miss Dana has enjoyed teaching private vocal lessons to students as young as 9 years old, and as young at heart as 90 years old. As a Licensed Kindermusik Educator, she looks forward to sharing her love of music with an even younger audience. Miss Dana has seen first hand how music can enhance physical, social, and intellectual development in pre-school and elementary school aged children while teaching French at Woodland Country Day School. Music is an essential part of her life. Let it be part of yours, too.
Barbara Sprouse, piano instructor
Barbara Sprouse is a native of Salem county. She graduated from Penns Grove High School and earned a Bachelors degree in early education from Glassboro State College, now Rowan University. From 1964-1978, she taught 2nd and 3rd grade in the Pennsville public school system, and from 1978-1995 taught 4th and 5th grades in Christian schools. Miss Barbara taught at a Sylvan Learning Center in Delaware from 1999-2003, and has been teaching piano at the Mannington Music School since 1997.
Peter McCarthy, guitar and bass instructor
Pete began playing guitar at age thirteen. He studied with Joe Allegro and also learned much from Jimi Combs. He started on the Electric Bass at age 19, and Upright Bass at 27. Pete studied Bass with Gregg Powers, Joe Allegro, Bruce Kaminsky and Fred Weiss. He also studied composition and theory at Glassboro State College. He has experience playing with numerous bands, most recently with Big Package Band, The Vel Crows, lavender, and the Steve Lewis Big Band.
Deb DiMarco, jewelry and glass instructor
With a background in fine art, illustration, and advertising, Deb DiMarco decided to expand her artistic palette to include jewelry design. After attending metalsmithing classes at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, she developed a strong interest in using glass beads in her designs. One thing led to another and in 2003, after retiring from a 20 year career in graphics and printing, she enrolled in the Glass Art Program of Salem Community College in Carneys Point, NJ, learning flameworking hand-skills and studying concept and technique from 2003 through 2006. Deb now makes her own glass beads to use in her jewelry. She also enjoys exploring many of the possible avenues of working with glass, teaching fusing and kiln-slumping techniques (known as warm glass) in community education classes.

Dana Gayner, art instructor
Dana Gayner studied art at the Philadelphia College of Art, now the University of the arts, in Philadelphia, PA. Her work in various mediums has been on display in various shows and galleries throughout the years. Additionally, you can see her creations come to life at craft fairs such as the Appel Farm Arts and Music Festival, and the Festival of Fine Craft at WheatonArts, as Ms. Gayner creates individualized masterpieces as a Renaissance Face Painter.
Ms. Gayner has been working as an arts educator for 25 years. Currently, she is teaching art at Woodland Country Day School, where she has been since 1989. She has also taught classes and workshops on various art subjects ranging from classical art to creative crafts, and continues her own education every summer at the Artist Teacher Institute.

Angelina LaSala, movement instructor
Angelina LaSala is currently a student at Rowan University majoring in Dance and Theater. Miss Angelina began dancing at the age of 5 at Eastern Dance Studio. During her tenure there, she studied jazz, tap, ballet, point, lyrical, modern, hip hop and cheerleading. She competed as a soloist, in duets, and with groups on the performance jazz and lyrical team, receiving very high scores and many judge's special awards, including first runner up for the senior advanced solo title.
In addition to dancing for 5 years on the senior team at Eastern Dance Studio, Miss Angelina has also danced for several years with Ballet South in The Nutcracker. She has danced many parts including the rat king, snow and flowers, an Arabian, and a Russian. She was also involved with performances of Coppelia where she was featured in a solo performance on point as prayer. At Rowan University, she was in a main stage performance of Making Trouble, and danced solo with her own choreography in a showcase performance.

Chris Lindsay, piano, winds, and brass instructor
A former
student of the Mannington Music School himself, Chris has been playing the alto
saxophone since the age of 10. After
studying for years with John Wernega on the saxophone, Chris, at the age of 15,
began learning to play the piano through private instruction. In 2008, he received B.A. of Music Education
at West Chester University. At West
Chester, Chris honed his skills on both the saxophone and the piano, while also
learning the rest of the woodwind and brass instruments. Teaching private lessons on different
instruments since 2006, he has experience in both private and public schools. Chris has performed on various instruments in both
a group and solo settings. He played
with West Chester University’s Concert, Symphonic, and Marching bands as well
as the All-Salem-County Honors band.
Courtney Quinn, violin instructor
Courtney Quinn has been playing the violin since 1999. She has studied with professionals from Julliard, Romania, Italy, Germany, and France. Her most recent teacher is Lenuta Ciulei, Romanian-born soloist renowned in 22 countries and winner of three international competitions, as well as many other awards. As a freshman in high school, Courtney began playing for musicals around the South Jersey area. She also played with the Garden State Pops Youth Orchestra from 2004-2007, the All South Jersey Youth Orchestra from 2005-2009, and the South Jersey Philharmonic from 2008-2010. Her studies span the classical, jazz, and popular genres.
Currently, Courtney is studying Music and Mathematics at Rowan University. Her experience with musicals has expanded, with approximately 20 shows under her belt, and she continues to play in many South Jersey venues. In August 2010 and 2011, she performed in concerts throughout Italy and Spain. She is also principal 2nd violin of the Rowan University Orchestra. Courtney is scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2013, and she plans on continuing her education in Mathematics. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in Broadway musicals or teaching higher-education Math.

Kevin Reardon, drum instructor
Kevin has been playing drums since 2003 and teaching since 2007. He has a unique, fun style of teaching that keeps students interested in playing and practicing. Kevin creates an light-hearted atmosphere in which students learn to play the drums. Not only will students learn how to groove to their favorite bands and musicians, but they also learn how to read music, play rudiments, and improvise.
Kevin is an active musician, regularly playing shows with his hard rock band "Beyond the Element". He also performs with choirs and for musical theater productions. He is experienced in studios and with recording, and has 5 years of experience on Drumline with Marching Band. He is able to play/teach marching Bass, Snare and Tenors.

Jake Spinella, brass and composition teacher
Jake began taking trumpet lesson in 4th grade. In 6th grade, he became involved in Jazz Ensemble under Robert Morrell. In 8th grade, he made an arrangement for the Jazz Ensemble of “Time To Say Goodbye” which earned him a place in the Montville High School marching band. He was involved in “Field Corps” marching band for 4 years and even held leadership positions.
Throughout high school, Jake played trumpet at St. Pius X church almost every Sunday. He was the music director for the parish’s Christmas pageants in 2005, 2006, and 2008. Jake became very involved with the pit orchestra for the school’s musicals. He played trumpet in the 2007, 2008, and 2009 productions of “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying,” "Singin' in the Rain," and "Crazy for You." He was the student pit coordinator for "Crazy for You" and “Singin’ In The Rain” and scored a silent film that occurrs during that show. He was also the music composer/editor for the Montville High School video yearbook in 2008 which won 1st place in the New Jersey Craftsman’s Fair. After winning this award, he decided he wanted to be involved with music scoring.
Jake currently attends Rowan University as a music composition/theory major with a projected graduation date of 2013. He has participated in Concert Band and started a 13 member ensemble called "Trumpets & Company" which has grown to 40 members. This ensemble continues to grow and perform, and to date has performed 3 pieces arranged by Jake.
