We're More Than Music
We start piano lessons with students as young as 8 years old, usually in 2nd or 3rd grade.
Between the ages of 8 and 12, children have the physical, mental, and emotional maturity to excel in musical studies. However, it is never too late to start studying music.
It’s never too late to enjoy music. It’s really not about how old you are, it’s about your level of commitment. The progress that you make is directly related to the amount of effort you put in.
If you are going to take piano lessons, you will need to have a keyboard instrument at home to practice on. There are 3 basic options.
No, you do not need to bring your keyboard to your lessons. You will play one of our pianos at The Mannington Music School.
However, you will need to remember to bring your piano books to every lesson. If you are just starting lessons, we will provide you with the books you need to start studying the piano. It is your responsibility to bring them with you each time you come for a lesson. Habitually forgetting your books will significantly slow your progress.
A student should aim to practice 20-30 minutes a day. The more time you put into playing at home, the faster progress you will see.
One 30-minute lessons costs $25. You will receive one lesson every week. Lessons are billed monthly and pre-paid by the first of every month.
